European adoption track will re-enforce accomplishment of data goals in the Dutch logistics sector

iSHARE has formed a new partnership with FIWARE and FundingBox to form the i4Trust initiative. Together, these three organisations will provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across various sectors and locations in Europe with the tools, coaching, mentoring and financial support needed for the creation of so-called data spaces.

This will facilitate effective, trust-based data sharing, enabling SMEs to work more efficiently and cost-effectively whilst also reducing their carbon footprint. Logistics does not stop at the borders of countries or industries; it is becoming increasingly international and cross-sectoral. The i4Trust initiative’s separate adoption track will re-enforce the accomplishment of the data goals set out for the logistics sector in the Netherlands and beyond.

“The Dutch logistics sector does not exist in isolation; it is highly interconnected with other industries and geographies. Therefore, this new adoption track will help to eliminate any doubts about the breadth of iSHARE’s scope, plus it will boost further adoption in the logistics sector, internationally”, comments Gerard van der Hoeven, director of the iSHARE Foundation.
