Our Collaborators
iSHARE’s Trust Framework is shaping the data spaces’ landscape by providing an adaptive, verifiable, and secure way to ensure data interoperability across industries and government jurisdictions. For this reason, we’re in close collaboration with international initiatives to drive federated data spaces.
Some of our
key collaborators are:
Eclipse Dataspace Working Group (EDWG)
Sharing data across organisations is a technical as a governance challenge. This is where iSHARE and the Eclipse Dataspace Working Group (EDWG) naturally complement each other. The Eclipse Dataspace Working Group operates under the Eclipse Foundation, an international non-profit that provides a business-friendly, vendor-neutral environment for open source software collaboration and innovation. EDWG focuses this capability on data spaces specifically: developing the open-source software and technical standards that make data sharing interoperable, scalable, and ready for industry adoption.
Through this collaboration, the goal is helping data spaces move from design choices to actual technical implementation, from standards to real-world use, and from isolated functionalities to connected ecosystems. The result: data spaces that are secure, open, and built for global scale.
Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC)
The DSSC is a European Commission-funded initiative under the Digital Europe Programme, established to support the development of self-sufficient, European Data Spaces. Bringing together 12 consortium partners, the DSSC assists public and private organisations navigate the complexity of building interoperable, trustworthy data-sharing environments via a coordinated suite of assets (Blueprint, Toolbox, Data Spaces Radar, Glossary, Design Principles, Co-Creation Method, and Maturity Model).Â
Currently in the second phase of the initiative, as a consortium member iSHARE contributes to enhancing the DSSC Toolbox, ensuring coherent presentation of the DSSC assets, and supports organisations in value coaching, providing 1-on-1 guidance to European Data Spaces.
CEN/CENELEC
They are Europe’s official standardisation bodies, developing European Standards and Workshop Agreements (CWAs). iSHARE is represented at senior level in European standardisation efforts relevant to data spaces and trust frameworks. Contributing alongside core industry bodies and the European Commission, to the development of the CEN Workshop Agreements (CWA 18125 and successors) that underpin the emerging European Trusted Data Framework. This work has since fed into CEN-CENELEC’s Joint Technical Committee 25 (JTC 25), which is developing harmonised standards in support of the EU Data Act.
Our Partners
iSHARE’s partner network is accelerating the deployment of data spaces by providing the technical expertise, integration capabilities, and domain knowledge needed to operationalise secure data sharing. For this reason, we work in close partnership with leading technology providers, consultancies, and industry experts to scale trusted, interoperable data ecosystems worldwide.
